    Well worth reading

    The author clearly has a prejudice from the point of writing, but it is easy to see and easy to sort out for the more valid points made (the author tends to give in to personal opinion often, but when he does, it is not cited and easy to discern). It is a very eye opening treatment of the papal see, one that I think most people who consider themselve educated would profit from reading
