      Do Your "Fairy Tale Traditions" RIGHT!

      Like many other children, I was 'introduced' to Fairy Tales at an early age... for the obvious 'entertainment value' inherent in the genre, but also the Not So Obvious value of an early Introduction to Reading.. and "Art Appreciation." The Visual aspects of human development are Primary to early Learning.. and all childrens' Fairy Tales are Illustrated.. THIS BOOK is Fascinating on TWO counts: 1. The Fairy Tales I "learned" and loved - were a little 'Watered Down' from the Originals! 2. The Illustrations "burned" into my Memory - were pretty watered down, too, COMPARED to the Mastery of Arthur Rackham, et al! LOVE your children - LOVE yourself - and Buy These BETTER Books!
