My Baby First Steps (Nintendo DS, 2009)
My 8-year-old daughter says it's fun because you can help and watch the baby progress. She dislikes the fact that the baby is strictly confined to the house, with the exception of the outside sandbox. She'd like to take the baby out into the real world: parks, stores, pool, etc. She also dislikes the fact that once the child grows up, he or she is REPLACED with a new child and the entire process starts over. The former child is gone FOREVER, except for the "photos" that were taken of him/her. The Former child can't be saved to be revisited, after all of the hard work of raising him/her. She mentioned that once SHE (our daughter) turned 3-4 years old, we didn't get rid of her and start over with a new child. According to my granddaughter, it is the next game in a series that she is playing. She was so interested in the game that she was occupied for several hours. She was so happy to have received this game that she didn't complain about chores.
