  • Absolute Garbage

    A book written in 2000 about the benefits of buying tech stocks, before the dot com crash. Listening to Mr Smith would have resulted in unbelievable losses. His past successes are very hard to believe (he owned 100 stocks of which 96 were in the top 100 out of more than 10 thousand) and he makes up jargon to confuse people into thinking he's intelligent. He is not a top investor, nor have any of his claims been proven. If you want to ruin yourself financially, then by all means, take his advice. But if you actually want to learn how to be an astute and intelligent investor, look at Warren Buffett or Peter Lynch. It'll put you in a much better frame of mind than useless jargon, bad ideas and terrible advice. Unfortunately, anyone trying to sell his book should probably just take it on ...
