This book is a great representation of balanced and healthy beauty. It looks at beauty as a whole aspect. Lifestyle, diet,spirituality are among the topics Bobbi covers in this manual. Of course you also get great tips on style. make up, hair and skin care. But her message is strong in that beauty is an inside job. More importantly loving yourself and your life go much further than just finding the right lip stick shade. Really motivating and positive message. Filled with beautiful pictures and amazing advice. Bobbis message is profound and much needed in a world obsessed with youth and plastic surgery. One book that stands out from the rest of the typicial beauty books.This book is a great representation of balanced and healthy beauty. It looks at beauty as a whole aspect. I use and love Bobbi Brown cosmetics. I wanted to learn from Bobbi Brown's beauty techniques. I know there is more to beauty than what you put on. More importantly is what you put in. There's just SO MUCH Bobbi can do with cosmetics, learning a bit of it will be great. Bobbi creates works of art on the palette of a human face. Subtlety of lights and shadows, the color chosen to fit the occasion and enhancing the natural beauty of each patron. I want to learn this. I hope the book offers informative and interesting subjects.I use and love Bobbi Brown cosmetics. I wanted to learn from Bobbi Brown's beauty techniques. I know there is more to beauty than what you put on. More importantly is what you put in. There's just SO MUCH Bobbi can do with cosmetics, learning a bit of it will be great. I know the world does not need another beauty guide...
but if you like Bobbi Brown's cosmetic line and the looks she has given celebrities and models, this book is more of the same. The only difference is that Brown gears the book for older women like myself. the celebrities and models in this book are around my age (approx. 50 coincidently the same age as Brown) and Brown has done a good job of allowing their age to show but not looking overtly made up. I like that.but if you like Bobbi Brown's cosmetic line and the looks she has given celebrities and models, this book is more of the same.
