NOT the seller's fault! Now that the book is in my hands, I can say that the book, with dust jacket, is clean, almost 'like new,' and was well protected by the seller's careful wrapping in protective layers of plastic film and bubblewrap, in a sturdy box. The description and photos were helpful in my decision to purchase.
