2.4Ghz wireless IEM seems to be working OK. Shorter range than I was hoping for (tested outdoors in a rural area with no wifi present), but it'll still good enough for what I need. Compared to traditional wireless systems costing 20 times as much, I was keeping my expectations low, and it's about on par with those expectations. Sound quality is pretty good when range isn't an issue. Fast shipping, and everything came exactly as described.

All right, long story short: received the unit.... and it was defective out of the box. I communicated with Lekato, and, after I proved via video that the transmitter component would not charge, Kelly at Lekato Music stepped up, and promptly sent a replacement, a whole new system. I received it over the weekend, and it charged up just fine, and is working as advertised. I haven't tested it extensively but so far I'd say tone and audio quality is very good.
And so...A Happy Ending.
