Items are great and in brand new condition as described. However, the real gem here is the seller! My box got lost in transit and took 2.5 weeks to arrive. She was in constant contact with me and USPS, filing claims and keeping my updated, and she worked hard to stay on top of things until the box was finally delivered safely. A+++ seller. Thank you so much!!

Wonderful seller! Goes above and beyond with service and very fast to reply to messages. Combined my shipping even after I added an additional item last minute. Shipping was within a day and all my fragile items were packaged securely and arrived in perfect condition! All vintage items are very clean and lovely condition. No junk here at all. Will keep my eyes on this shop for more unique finds!

  • poorly written, makes interesting person's life boring

This book covers an interesting life story and has great detail, but unfortunately much of that detail has nothing to do with Mr. Fleming's life, instead focusing on the bloodlines of every British person he ever met. A typical sentence would read "While at the party Ian met John Blankenship of Eddileshile, who would later become the Duke of Ipswitch and marry the Dutchess of Flem, whose mother, the Dame of Foppishnich, once had lunch with Sir Henry Handllberg" - and NONE of these people would have had anything to do with the story, the party, or Ian Flemming. It is as if a Flemming biography was inadvertantly been mixed with a "Complete Peerage of the Brittish Isles" and they went ahead and published it anyway.

  • The Literate Ian Fleming

    Literate and intelligent biography.

  • real story

It is a great written history of the original 007 by a great writer with great information from great sources and in a great historical format so that the public knows about 007

  • exactly what I bought

Have not read the book yet so can not make a judgement. To understand Ian Fleming and how his personal life affected his writing of the James Bond books.
