He or she will not want to put it down., Anyone wishing to know what some of the most unusual, even bizarre, plant adaptations to extreme environmental stress look like will be fascinated by this book. . . . Highly recommended., Made up of full-page color plates of about a hundred different flowers and plants photographed in their breathtaking native habitat., The book contains . . . 108 images of plants both familiar and unusual with brief but informative notes on each one.
