    Vintage Bond at his Peak

This was Sir Roger Moore's last Bond film. I think that, despite mixed critic reviews, it was overall quite good /with a lot of great stunts, older, mature acting performances and solid action sequences for that stage in time. Eighties goers may also recall how this was an early star role for Christopher Walken and emerging actor and model Grace Jones! And also, one may note her to be boyfriend /beau Dolph Lundgen in the background of one of the fight scenes (whom she met on the Set of A View to A Kill). The movie also introduced a then-much-younger Tanya Roberts (and her childish cuteness as the newest Bond-girl). Consistent with this and most of Moore’s other Bond performances, I admit that I definately prefer Moore to the other Bonds (yep even Connery) owing to his pleasantness and ...

  • One of the Best Bond film, in my opinion!

First off, I love this Bond movie. I live in San Francisco and the story, the plot and the beautiful action scenes are incredible. The plot is a little over the top, Bond against Max Zorin and Grace Jones *** the action sccenes from the Eiffel Tower in Paris to the final climax scene on the Top of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Grace Jones and Tanya Roberts are awesome, too. A Beautiful/great film in my opinion, awesome action sequences and a very Killer Duran Duran Top #1 hit-single "A View To A Kill". 5 stars.

  • A View To A Kill

Such a fun way to spend a couple of hours with a movie. All of Roger Moore's Bond adventures were very good. This one was significant because of the amazing scenes on the Golden Gate Bridge.
