    The Way We Were

    That this is available for a buck and shipping is a modern miracle and leaves no reason for anyone remotely interested in our history to not have it. Though riddled with WW II and post WWII propaganda, it is both a description of the war effort in the Pacific and a window into cinematic journalism of the time. Graphic actual battle and post battle footage. This is not Saving Private Ryan or otherwise for the queesy or those who do not wish to deal with the reality of combat. It is historic in defining the times and on several other levels. It is also riviting viewing.

    I thought this was a very informative Documentary.The newsreel were very helpful; in understanding the mindst in those days.
