German developer Ascaron Entertainment brings gamers more open-ended role-playing action in this sequel to the 2004 release Sacred. Sacred 2: Fallen Angel moves the gameplay perspective to true 3D, rather than the Diablo-esque isometric viewpoint of the original, but players have the same freedom to choose from six playable characters and wander the landscape as they please, undertaking quests and cleansing dungeons of enemies and beasts.<br><br>Gamers can also gather a wide assortment of unique items, travel, and battle on the backs of mounts such as horses, tigers, and hellhounds, and level-up their character's attributes and fighting styles. Players can choose to battle on the "Light" side or the "Shadow" side, with both choices resulting in a unique set of skills, rewards, and story elements. Sacred 2 also features five different multiplayer modes, including co-op, PvP, and PvE options, and drop-in gameplay allows for seamless transitions between single- and multiplayer modes online.

Complete in box. The game it self is ok to decent, there are too many bugs to call it good. Still, the world is massive and there is alot here for fans or people willing to wade through a bit of crap.

Great Hack/Slash RPG - Not-so-great Story or Graphics
You can get reviews online with lots of details so I try to simple provide an easy-read pros/cons list. Pros: 1) Lots of choices! If you are looking for a top-down real-time RPG with full customization of your character, I don't know of any others on the PS3. 2) Online multi-player works. Diablo style, allows 3 others within a 10 level gap to join your game. 3) Large map, no forced linear story. Roam and explore at will! 4) Addictive loot collecting. Not quite as good as Diablo or Borderlands but a similar feel. 5) Flexibility in the leveling system. How do you like to play? Grinding? Plow through the main story with a big challenge every quest? Finish as many side quests as possible? All of the above? Any of these styles work in Sacred 2. 6) Huge range of creatures diversity. I have ... Also, I have experienced a lot of lag regularly in the online games. Awkward traveling, areas you think you can walk to you are blocked and the path system in, on occasion, confusing and frustrating. Hope the helps! If you need details look at professional reviews, but that is the best I can do for a quick pros/cons list.

With six classes, five difficulty, and a very addictive loot system, you can potentially spend 1,000 hours per class, if you're looking to completely finish the game. Graphically, it is a bit outmoded, but still decent. If you do not game on an HD tv, however, many of the words will be difficult to read, as it is not made for SD tvs. It has overwhelming character customization, an endless supply of useful gear, and over 500 quests to complete. The story is forgetable, however (I've beaten it nine times and couldn't even tell you one thing about the story), as is the voice-acting. If you're wanting a fun experience waiting for Diablo III, though, then dropping $20 on this is a great idea. I bought it at full ... Sacred 2: Fallen Angel
So far I'm really enjoying Sacred 2. the world map is huge and there is tons to explore. There are loads of weapons and armor that your character constantly finds and above all the game doesn't take itself too seriously which I especially like. NPC characters say super sarcastic and ridiculous things that make me laugh. On top of that there are massive amounts of enemies to fight basically everywhere you go. The game gets a little sketchy after you've unlocked a good portion of the map so that kind of sucks but beyond that I'm really liking the game.So far I'm really enjoying Sacred 2. the world map is huge and there is tons to explore. If you liked Diablo, Diablo II, Lord of the Rings Two Towers, or the Baldurs Gate Series you will LOVE Sacred 2 Fallen Angel for the PS3! Graphics are great, except when sometimes they flicker, but it is tolerable. The sound is ok, and the voice acting just ok. The real strength is the gameplay, storylines, and customization. Every time you play it is different. You could play the game and then re-play again and it will be different. This game is a real keeper and worthy of adding to your library!
