    Great Product

This is the best indicator I have ever used. It is simple to install on your line and remove for re-use. It has the flexibility to be sized to whatever the conditions command. Quick and ease of installation gets you back to fishing instead of fumbling with other products. I couldn't be happier with it and plan on it being my staple indicator for some time to come.

    Great idea but FLIMSY

I love the NZ Strike Indicator Except... I purchased 1 when it first hit the market, it lasted about 2 years of light fly fishing on 5# trout leader, snags on just about everything, red bead cracked, needle lost somewhere in Duck Creek, UT.

  • As advertised

The indicator works as advertised. It is easy to use and I think it cast better, lands softer and less resistance when picking up the line than palsa indicators. Easily adjustable.

  • Neat new fly fishing tool

My guide used this on my line and I really liked it. That is why I purchased it for myself. I'm 70 and my vision isn't what it used to be and it is true that even an old guy can use it without his glasses. Great new idea.

  • Better than a bobber

This was my first time using this type of strike indicator and i have to say I loved it. Super easy to use, lands softly. The tubing stays put on the needle so you can just use a zinger and hang from your vest. It dries quickly during casting, BUT if you are just roll casting nymphs it becomes water logged quickly. In this case add some floatant or use a different type of indicator in that situation
