This item is amazing, i dont know how good the snap-on brand tool is but let me tell you on the 1940s toolbox i could get them out relatively easy with a hacksaw blade, on the 1970s snap on boxes they are impossible with hacksaw blade. decided to give this tool a try and got all 32 slides out in about 10 minutes, highly recommend if struggling with removing slides.

The drawer shims work amazingly, getting both large and small slides loose no problem. What I think is more valuable than the shims, however, are the 13 pages of tips, tricks, and advice in the listing's description. I have saved them and plan to print them out because the years of experience written on them is something I would like to be able to reference as a 25-year-old just getting into my own tool box restoration.
