Good product that's very helpful.
This device has helped my families life extremely. Mainly my wife and myself. I have a 2 year old daughter that would lock is out using the dead bolt any time we stepped out side for anything because she thinks it funny. It was maybe a little a coupe of times but after a while it's just annoying. It has also cut down on the amount of time the kids just crack open the door until the chain stops it to get a better look outside. Once again, because it's fun to do. It's a little awkward at first for some people to use but it's a life saver over all. Are least for me. 2 weak points in the design: 1. The plastic that makes contact with your actual lock can be a little fragile. My lock can stick a little and I might have heard the plastic crack a little when I turned it harder than ... After you turn the lock completely to one side, the buttons you push can stay in. The pop back out as soon as you turn it back some. So no danger of the kids escaping. The down side is that if someone on the outside tries to use their key to unlock the door, it's jammed by the buttons. Same when you step out and want to lock the door. You must always make sure to leave the buttons out or the key is useless. 2 very minor things that you just have to be conscious of. Overall, great product with a couple of very minor things I would adjust.

This is easily the best Dead Bolt Stately device created to keep a Toddler safe. Fits on any door that has a independent dead bolt lock. We have one on our front door and one on the back door. It takes some adjustment when installing it to make it work perfect. You do not have to remove the entire dead bold lock just loosen the 2 screws slide the metal plate supplied between the door and the dead bolt knob, then follow the instructions, which is only 3 more screws. It took me 5 minutes to install the second one. We sleep easy knowing our child will not open the front or back door and wander into the street! FINALLY SOMETHING THAT WORKS!!
I am the proud mother of a very adventurous 3 year old boy! I have always had everything child proof, even adult proof! We moved and only have 1 dead bolt and it's low... That alone scares me! I can go to the bathroom/bed/shower/anywhere n home much easier than before! I love it. Easy, yet not a chance for a toddler! EVERY parent of a toddler a MUST HAVE!
