  • Awsome product! Great value for the money! A handy guide for Collectors!

Excellent for the beginning collector or anyone as it has pictures of the back marks, with dates. There's a list in the back of the well known Limoges factories and decorating studios with information about each one. It gives an interesting history of how the industry started in and near Limoges, France. It explains what key attributes to look for to identify and categorize items. Many gorgeous photos which are all numbered and keyed to a price list, which although from 1996, still gives an idea of the book value. The interesting thing is that you will see so many of these very items, or quite similar ones available for sale on Ebay. I would recommend this book highly.

  • The Collector's Encyclopedia of limoges Porcelain

This book is an excellent guide to reference when you are considering purchases of Limoges products. It details a great variety of various Limoges manufacturers during different periods of time. It shows the different markings on the bottom of the various items which help to date the approximate age of the pieces. You can also reference different artists and it has a price list to guide you in the potential value of the item.

  • The title is self-descriptive.

This book is a real help to me in identifying porcelain molds for Limoges and dating some of my purchases. I have been collecting for quite some time and I have realized that you can never know enough! I also like to thoroughly research an item prior to selling it and this assists me in describing it accurately for the prospective buyers.

  • Identify Limoges porcelain easily

Although having dated prices...this is a great reference to use to date Limoges porcelain items.
