    Durable Valves

    Have two of these on Horse troughs. Horses checked them over and bumped them pretty good on the first couple of days but haven't bothered them since. Do a great job with complete shut off when trough is full. They do have a little spray out the top while filling but it's not bad. I would recommend these valves for function and durability.

    Great value,could use a better (rubber?) gasket material

    I use this to maintain the water level in a in ground pool and it works great considering the low price. In a chlorine pool the gasket that stops inflow does fail within 2 years though. It can be shifted on the securing post periodically, but in this use a solid rubber gasket would be an improvement.

    It does the job

    This is not a $100 float valve. It’s low priced but does the trick. Installed in 1-2min and done. The only thing I would watch for is what water pressure you have. We are extremely high on this line around 90psi. And that’s been my only concern is that the float might not seat well against that kind of pressure but so far so good. I’ll probably buy another just to have for down the road.

    Mostly Plastic, but seems to be working very well

    There are other units out there made from metal housings etc, but this unit doesn't seem to suffer from being made with plastic components. Easy to assemble and install (no tools required) and is working as advertised. I would recommend this item.
