Great value, but beware of reversioning, some episodes in second set were poor quality
Reversioned FMA series to be condensed onto six discs. This is a smart move, as the discs take much less space on the shelf and also look more appealing than a bulky collection of cd cases. The only issue is some of the reversioning decisions which shifted episode 25 to disc 4 and caused a greater level of compression for the eps on that disc.

Anime at it's best
Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the better animes available these days. The original 51 episode + movie series stops following the storyline of the original manga after season 1 (so about half-way). If you are only interested in the original story then you should deffinately go and watch fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood which was made to follow the original. This series however does make a twist that I rather enjoyed. The writers made sure that the plot lined up and the explanations and reasoning behind events all amde sense. aniplex is a very good anime studio and i would highly reccomend that you see this series all the way through.Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the better animes available these days. Best Anime Hands DOWN
I Watched this Anime and Its Counterpart Fullmetal Alchemist : Brotherhood and i still am and while have read the manga which has recently ended i can say this. Buy this Anime for whatever the cost. Even if you don't like Anime that much this could be what changes your opinion and makes you an addict. But i have to disagree with the person talking about God, because this is Ebay and not money people are going to care about your views and you will be considered annoying for writing a review like that on EbayI Watched this Anime and Its Counterpart Fullmetal Alchemist : Brotherhood and i still am and while have read the manga which has recently ended i can say this. The begining
This is number 1 in a 14 disc collection and the one that will have you hooked! The story is always action filled with little filler, and the characters are extremely likable and easy to sympathise with. With 13 discs, which is 51 episodes, of the tv series and 1 movie to tie it all together, you will be engrossed in this series for quite awhile. I spent 2 days watching every episode and the movie with just a few breaks for bathroom and food and sleep. The only time I was dissapointed is when it ended, they better bring it back with a new story or just a continuation would be fine with me!This is number 1 in a 14 disc collection and the one that will have you hooked! One of, if not my Favorite Anime
I loved the Anime Series a lot. I find the story original and interesting and after finishing watching it I decided to buy the whole series. I bought the Volume 1 NEW separately since the one I got with a Used Tin Starter 1 was used and missing the art booklet which I think is part of the collection. Never the less, it's a great product. :)
