    Not KVM switch friendly

    The product page says this converter is compatible with KVM switches, but this does not reflect my experience (for reference, I'm using a Cybex SwitchView). When this device is plugged into my KVM switch, the PS/2 mouse behaves erratically. Any movement causes the cursor to bounce around the screen and start clicking randomly. This happens regardless of which port is selected. So if the converter is connected to "A" on the KVM switch and "C" (a different computer) is currently selected, the mouse is still unusable. The behavior is the same on all operating systems. Removing the KVM switch from the equation and plugging the keyboard and mouse directly into the converter solves the mouse movement problem. But this is unacceptable to me because I was depending on using the converter and the ...

    PS2 to USB Voltage Adapter

    This item is necessary to easily connect a PS2 device like a keyboard or a mouse to USB. A regular adapter will NOT do it. This item also deals wit the voltage. It can do both the keyboard and the pointing device. It solved a major headache for me.
