In the Farrelly Brothers' ME, MYSELF & IRENE, Jim Carrey plays Charlie Baileygates, a Rhode Island State Trooper who develops a split personality disorder after his wife leaves him for an African-American midget genius. Due to years of denial and repression while raising triplet sons left behind by his wife and her lover, Charlie finally gets fed up with people taking advantage of his meek nature and snaps, taking on a lewd, aggressive second personality named Hank. Soon afterwards, Charlie is assigned by the police department to protect a woman named Irene (Renée Zellweger), who's being followed by some shady characters who want her dead. As the pair attempt to outwit their pursuers, the kind-hearted Charlie begins to fall for Irene, while battling his sleazy alter ego, Hank. Back in full comedy mode after his more dramatic roles in THE TRUMAN SHOW and MAN ON THE MOON, Carrey once again displays his outlandish brand of physical humor. As with any Farrelly Brothers film, there are plenty of grossly funny yet good-natured moments. (In fact, Charlie's loving relationship with his three brilliant half-African-American sons is one of the film's best and funniest subplots.) Above all, it is the way that Carrey juggles the extreme personalities of Charlie and Hank--basically waging war against himself--that shows why he is one of Hollywood's best comedic actors.

    One of his funniest movies that I have watched. I would watch this movie again and again. For people that like Jim Carey to watch this movie also. It is entertaining.

    ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!! One of Jim Carrey's BEST!! 10/10

    ~*~*~AN AWESOME MOVIE!!~*~*~ This movie is "MORE" than funny!! A hilarious movie about one with multiple medical disorders, including multiple personalities. Jim Carrey fights with himself through the whole movie, as well as everyone else he runs into!! A State Highway Patrol Officer with an attitude and absolutely crazy outlook. A GREAT ENDING!! ***WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!*** Me, Myself, & Irene will keep your attention from beginning to end. I think we have watched it so many times, that the DVD is about burnt out! Rent It or Buy It? Definitely BUY IT!!! ;) You'll want to watch it over and over again!!     Just so funny!

    First I must tell that I love Jim Carrey, I bought this movie some years ago and i did watch many times. So funny! I think one day everybody will "explode" anyway hahaha you cannot be patient the rest of your life with people that do not respect you and if you are so good you cannot face it, you create a guy to work out for you hahaha. Another thing is, if you are a good person in the final you always have people that likes you truely. I did laugh so much when hes mouth got dry in the police office, he is amazing making funny faces hahaha one of my favorite parties. What about that cow?! hahah never dies?? hahaha Well... many good messages inside the movie. I love it

    Funny Farrelly Bros Film

    Jim Carrey is great in the dual/single role film. He plays two characters trapped inside the same body. The supporting cast is great but Jim Carrey is the spotlight of this film. He does a great job and isn't too far over the top in this film either. Rene Zewelleger is great in this film as well.     Okay

    For the price is was OK! But the movie had to many brakes in between some seens !like it was recorded in parts, instead of the hole movie at once
