Great concert CD. Classic Billy Joel. 'Bright' sound th
Being a huge Billy Joel fan, this double CD is a great live recording from later in his career. The song selections are good, however the Y2K-related tunes - Auld Lang Syne for example - were topical, but weak. As this was recorded on the last leg of a long concert tour, some of the chatter with the audience could have been left off and improved the overall concert experience. A few song versions were also a bit loose - too relaxed. The sound engineering has been better in earlier Billy Joel live recordings. The treble borders on screetchy. Very bright sound at the high end. Regardless, I enjoyed this addition to my Billy Joel recordings.Being a huge Billy Joel fan, this double CD is a great live recording from later in his career. I love this CD. For any Billy Joel fan this is a must have CD. I have loved Billy Joel for years. But, until recently have not had a lot of his music. I wanted this CD because it was a live performance and contained so many of his songs that I love. This man is truly one of the all time greats in the music business. I have been around as long as Billy Joel has been, but it was not until recently that I came to fully appreciate the works of this wonderful man.I love this CD. Great for any Billy Joel fan or passing interest
Billy Joel has maintained his quality thru the years. This has all his Greatest Hits, plus a few others. Billy Joel has a great live performance that strays very little from his albumn versions. Billy gives the same concert performances so if you've seen him live, it would be like they recorded the concert you attended.

I bought this bcause I like Billy Joel, it has GREAT songs on it, and I heard someone playing it and knew it was good!!! He puts his heart into performing and making the crowd go crazy!! Songs are Old and New!!
