  • Classic Must-Have for Winemakers.

Great book! Though it's very dated (photos make it look like the book is from the 1950s) and the verbage is a little bit challenging (I think the author is English?) anyway, it's proved to be a great resource for winemaking.

  • Hidden Gems

Very high quality used but it is hard to even tell all pages are crisp and cover is like new. Many great wine recipes for the homebrew enthusiast and some good basic knowledge any brewer worth their salt would want. A great addition to my library Thanks!

  • The Bible for home wine makers.

I dig the old-fashioned styles in the books photos. It looks like this guy takes his winemaking serious. The book is the definitive work on the subject and is good for beginners. I'd pair this one with Terry Garey's 'The Joy of Homew Winemaking' if I were stranded on a deserted island and could only take two winemaking books. 'Ernest and Julio' give it two thumbs up!

  • Only read a little!

I really haven't had much of a chance to look into the book. But I bought it because a friend of mine gave me some wine a family member made, and my fathers friend also makes his own. So I figured I would give it a try!
