"Brings to Mind the Knight-Errant Adventures of John D. Mcdonald's Travis Mcgee." -- Booklist, "Grabs hold with the first page . . . This is pulse-pounding suspense."-- Arizona Daily Star   "A stylistic thriller as complex and disturbing as its hero."--Stephen White   "A bang-up finale . . . Makes the reader sit back and gasp."-- The Denver Post   "Gives new meaning to what a page-turner should be."--Michael Connelly, "Grabs hold with the first page . . . This is pulse-pounding suspense."-- Arizona Daily Star "A stylistic thriller as complex and disturbing as its hero."--Stephen White "A bang-up finale . . . Makes the reader sit back and gasp."-- The Denver Post "Gives new meaning to what a page-turner should be."--Michael Connelly, "Child grabs hold with the first page and won't let go until the finish. This is pulse-pounding suspense, and Child hardly misses a beat."-- The Arizona Daily Star "Good thrillers exist in a class of their own. The point of such a book is total escape and Tripwire fills the bill. A bang-up finale which makes the reader sit back and gasp with both wonder and understanding."-- The Denver Post "Not only bang-on suspense but an insightful look into how humans work."-- Houston Chronicle "A stylish thriller as complex and disturbing as its hero."--Stephen White "A tightly-drawn and swift thriller that gives new meaning to what a page-turner should be."--Michael Connelly "Page for page, there's probably more fisticuffs in a Lee Child thriller than anywhere else."-- Chicago Tribune "When you put a good villain together with a great hero like Jack Reacher...the result is a thriller good to the last drop. (Child) does a great job of balancing good and evil, and certainly Hobie ranks up there with some of the most memorable villains."-- The Orlando Sentinel

  • Tripwire Jack Reacher. Author Lee Childs.

I enjoy reading all of the Jack Reacher books. I have a lot of them, I like getting them, without having to pay full price.

  • Lee Child has it going on; great author.

I have just discovered Lee Child (author)and think he writes about as well or better than any other mystery writer I've read, to include Coban, Patterson, Lehane, Hoag, and more. They are great too, but since I tire of reading the same author for too long (although I do go back to them), am so glad to have discovered this author. He's great, no kidding. Start with the first one "Killing Floor". This one I'm reviewing is his third. They are all good.

  • Sometimes you just don't know by the title

As usual, you get more than you bargained for. Jack Reacher is my favorite fictional book character. Lee Child always writes a book that you just cannot put down. I have all 22 of the Lee Child library, including the most resent, "Past Tense".
