    Gift for a city friend

    I gave this to a city loving friend who is making his first trip to The West soon. He enjoyed the book and is now reading Desert Solitaire. I am hoping to help him learn to love this country as much as I do. Reading Ed Abbey is a good start in that direction!

    Packed with laughs and adventure

    Edward Abbeys hands down best! This will make you laugh,cry,laugh out loud and feel mischievous. Down with Industrial capitalism. Teaches the reader that there are finer things in life and more important thing than just making money. Be a leader not a follower. It's good sometimes to say NO! Fun book to read.

    Excellent and relatively quick read

    I had to read this book for my American Cultural History Class. I loved every minute of it and had difficulty putting it down. It is hilariously witty and smart. This book is about anarchy and eco-terrorism in the 1970s, and therefore might anger some people. But overall I thought this book was written very well and I enjoyed it immensely.
