A view into an Unseen World of the Eastern US
First, let me start of by what I didn't like about this book. I originally purchased this book for information on Banshees. Unfortunately, there were just a chapter and few pages that covered Banshees. Even though the information on Banshees was interesting and may prove useful to my research and work, there are other sources that are better for information on the Banshee. In reading the book I was pleasantly surprised and learned new things about ghosts and the spirit world, making the book a worthwile buy. As someone who lives in the Western United States, the book opened my eyes to spirit legend and lore of the Eastern United States. The book is an interesting and quick read. The author writes in a way that takes you into the world of legend and lore and lets your explore it. Thjis ... First, let me start of by what I didn't like about this book. Thjis is a book to read if you want to learn of accounts of ghost and spirit sightings, but it is not a book to read if you want a scholarly viewpoint to the phenomenon of ghosts and spirits, but then again the book wasn't written to prove or disprove the existence of ghosts and spirits. The book was written to inform the audience and expand your mind. I feel the author's intent was to allow the rteader a glimpse into the mysterious world surrounding us. The price of this book is reasonable, new or used. In dealing with this phenomenon and parapsychology as a whole, it is best to have an open mind regardless of your beliefs or experiences. This book allows you to expand your mind and knowledge, providing interesting trivia and how people in the Eastern United States view the phenomenon of ghosts and spirits.
