    Why I Bought the Book

    If one has NOT READ the complete story of the VW's inception and the creator of the bug, one has missed out on something beautiful-Dr. Porsche, like Gen.Jimmy Dolittle-Gen. Geo S. Patton,and all the gifted leaders who had to run against the grain-had a vision and yes -Hitler stirred him on-and he finally saw it succeed. This book carries on the love affair bug owners have for the little dickens-it is fun, loving, forgiving, and a marvelous piece of great car history!I worked at a dealership and now own one-A 1966. We should do so good with all the technology we have at hand, they didn't.
