I finally built up the courage to replace batteries myself instead of purchasing new watches or paying nearly as much to have the dead battery professionally replaced. It really is not that difficult to replace your own batteries and ever so much more economical. I take great pride every time I rejuvenate a dead watch or dead cordless phone or minute timer myself. It brings out the pioneering spirit!
