    Loved this series!

    This is the first book in the Canadian West Series. There are four of them. I could not put them down. I bought the set together and the minute I finished one of them, I started the next one. There are no time gaps between books so you start the new book right where the last book left off. I think I finished the whole series in less than a week. I love the way Janette Oke makes you take a real look at history and all the hardships the people who lived it had to endure. This series would make a great TV series but after what they did to the "Love Comes Softly" series, maybe not(the last couple movies don't even come close to the actual books).

    Hilarious!

    I absolutely loved this book! Out of all the books by Janette Oke's this one is definitely a TOP favorite! I was laughing throughout most of the book, feelings were brought back to me reminding me of past wonderful memories, etc. I believe I FELT every emotion the book contained for Elizabeth! Not only was it hilarious, but it also had a wonderful message about why God hates sin so much...big or little it is still sin and it hurts Him so much because it hurts Jesus Christ! Totally wonderful! Loved every minute of it!!!
