    Synopsis
The celebrated lead singer of The Doors, Jim Morrison is a legend of rock and roll. The American Night presents Morrison's previously unpublished work in its truest form. With their nightmarish images, bold associative leaps, and volcanic power of emotion, these works are the unmistakable artifacts of a great, wild voice and heart.

    • Jim Morrison was an amazing poet...

The American Night by Jim Morrison is a great book! I have almost finished the book. Jim Morrison's poetry is quite amazing. I started reading it, and couldn't put it down. If you are a true Jim Morrison fan, this book is definitely a must. There are also a few of his songs in the book. It was hard not to sing along with the words. He truly was quite the poet, and such a talented musician. RIP Jim Morrison.

    • the american night

With out a doubt a goldmine of raw abstract psychedelic accounts of life and subject through the eyes of Jim Morrison, modern day genious, poet and originalist. Experience life accurately how Jim viewed it and/or relate to his work and compare his views to your own. An orgy of description.Very original and never impure.
