HDCP....defeated
Newer is not always better. This part in conjunction with a splinter made before 2017 can remove HDCP if you are recording PS3, PC, or any of these HDCP encrypted sources take make no sense in having HDCP on all the time. I will be keeping my lil'treasures for many many years. 4k is overrated anyway, 1080p for me is fine with how close I am to my monitors. So these devices are my gotos for streaming on Mixer (Twitch by the way has IRC security issues so beware of hackers through Twitch). Anyway, this device did the trickNewer is not always better.
