Based on Sam Raimi's classically campy series of horror films that began with 1983's The Evil Dead, this action game follows the continuing, cursed adventures of Ashley J. "Ash" Williams. Ash was recently sentenced to the Sunny Meadows Institute for the Criminally Insane, after being falsely convicted of murdering his camping companions. When Ash's psychiatrist begins tampering with the Necronomicon -- an evil book of ancient magic that has been the recurring source of Ash's supernatural troubles -- all hell breaks loose (quite literally).<br><br>Once again, Ash is voiced by Bruce Campbell, who portrays the luckless hero in the films and previous Evil Dead games. Evil Dead: Regeneration plays like a combat adventure, in the fast-paced, fixed-camera style of the Devil May Cry or Onimusha games. Ash uses his "boomstick" shotgun and chainsaw prosthesis to blast and hack his way through nearly endless throngs of "deadites." Unlike earlier games based on the franchise, Evil Dead: Regeneration was developed by Cranky Pants Games, whose previous work includes the GameCube port of Volition's Red Faction II.

    From the seller's description, I understood these to be Barbie items. What I received were items for a much larger doll. That should have been disclosed. Stating "other doll accessories" does not imply non-Barbie items when listing with Barbie items. Barbie has a number of doll friends, all 12" and under, which can easily be understood as "other doll." I requested a refund. The seller's response was "I don't accept returns. It was cheap enough." And that I could take it up w/ eBay.

    Graphics a little dated, but for a relly good zombie romp it's great.

    The disk itself is in perfect condition. For a game from the early two thousands, that is remarkable.

    Evil Dead Regeneration for Xbox

    I'd never heard of Evil Dead until I got this game. There is one before this called Evil Dead Fistful of Boomstick (a Boomstick is a shotgun). But I've never played it. Evil Dead Regeneration is basically a game where you kill the undead (the undead take several forms). You have your trusty Boomstick (shotgun), and on your arm where your hand should be; you have a Chainsaw. You get other weapons throughout the game, a grappling hook, a flamethrower, etc. And you have your trusty undead sidekick (with issues), his name is Sam. You make your through to save the world from an evil scientist that has the necromonican (book to raise the dead). If you like shotguns, chainsaws, and the undead-this game is for you.

    This Deadite is Dead Right!

    Ive been on a mission to collect all of the Evil Dead games spanning different consoles; this game being the one I wanted most. There’s a certain charm to being a fan of the films and waiting for the games to arrive. I was scared (like I usually am) that something would go wrong in the process of waiting for the game to arrive on my doorstep. It’s happened a handful of times in the past, and this game was obviously a lil more expensive then most of the other games on the system. To my luck, it arrived in tip top shape. Aside from some minor wear and tear in the cover, everything else was excellent. I pulled up a chair, armed my trusty dukestick, and strapped myself in for one groovy night. This is easily my favorite Evil Dead game and I’m happy to see how well it runs on the Xbox. Great ...

    why is there no great evil dead game?????

    If you love evil dead, buy this game if you have not done so already. For others, rent it from GameFly . com. The camera gets a 1/5. It interfers with game play. The save are set every so often, so you have to play the same part over and over and over until you get to the next save. Bruce and Sam sound like they are phoning it in on the voice acting. Loads of catch phrases, but nothing outstanding. The shooting is a little out os hand, you never have to reload...EVER!!! Just shoot shoot shoot all day long. I give it a 3/5 b/c I love evil dead, but they need to make a game that is as good if not better then the movies. It is better then the last evil dead game, but that isnto saying much as it was $20 new.
