Brilliant actors working with MEDIOCRE material, no story no hero, eh :(
5/7/2011 Just watched this film with friends. I hate to say anything bad about a film, but this film falls short. Let me explain. Pros: -The performances are stellar, their strength carries the picture. -The visuals, sets are cool, put you right there, lots of gritty detail. Cons: -There's no real story. -There's no hero -The mayhem goes on and on with no point -The ending is flat and if anything anticlimactic. See it for the actors, although they're playing stereotypes, the performances are great, just wish they had used it on better written material.5/7/2011 Just watched this film with friends. Not just another cop movie, Brooklyn's Finest gives many different real life views of day to day stress from working for a less than perfect police force. This film examines the stress, pressure, and tough descions while protecting the community. Loyalty and intergrity of the characters are tested in this film. This is one of Wesley Snipes better performances.
