    INXS -- Switch

    I had never heard of INXS prior to the TV show Rockstar:INXS. My husband, on the other hand, grew up listening to INXS -- theirs was the first CD he ever owned. So we dug out his old CD's are started listening. Then we downloaded their newest album "Switch" as soon as it was available on itunes. We really like it. My favorites are "Pretty Vegas" (of course, you've heard this one if you were a Rockstar:INXS watcher), "Afterglow," and "Hot Girls." I've read many criticisms of the album--that it sounds the same as their other albums, that this album sounds like an album made by an INXS coverband, etc., but my opinion is that it is good listening (and JD Fortune is hot!).

    Big shoes to fill but J.D. did a good job

    I didn’t really know what I would think of this album. I liked the original INXS and so J.D. Fortune had a lot to live up to. I watched the show, Rock Star INXS; and while there were definite things that I liked about J.D., I was torn about how well he would fit with INXS. So, I was pleasantly surprised by this CD. J.D. fit in great. He’ll never be Michael Hutchence for me, but I’m glad that the band picked him.

    GREAT New Songs from 1 One of the BEST Bands of All Tim

    If you're an 80s freak like I am you might be hesitant to try the 'NEW INXS" with new lead singer JD Fortune. I've got to say..this is now one of my favorite INXS albums (and I have almost all of them!). The best tunes from this almost are HOT GIRLS, and NEVER LET YOU GO...and PERFECT STRANGERS. Devils Party and Remember Whos Your Man Are Great. These guys have done it again..they sound enough like the OLD INXS to excite loyal fans...but the news songs are catchy and current to get the next generation hooked. Check out the SWITCH tour dates (second leg starts again in April 2006) because these guys are even better LIVE. GET THIS ALBUM!
