Steinhausen TW-391 vs Stauer Graves 33
Not a bad watch. Came in authentic box from Steinhausen. Included a brown and black leather band. Both stylish. The DATE display is small and hard to see(to Me that is) Hands do not glow in the dark. Compared to the Stauer Graves 33: The Box: Steinhausen Wins. Both watches have the same Quality of bands. Though the Stauer 33 is labeled Stauer Extra watch bands: Steinhausen Wins. Price: same price range but Stauer 33 was less $82 .. Steinhausen $110 Steinhausen and Stauer have the same body design. Steinhausen has 2 buttons and a crown.. The crown screws to secure it.. That feature I LOVE. Stauer has 3 buttons. Which i like better for setting Date/Day of the Week/Month. Steinhausen has a viewable back to see the works of the watch. Like the watch, but not the situtation of me having to purchase a watch band in order to wear the watch.
Like the watch, but unfornate both of the watch bands were dry rotten. Which now cases me to have to purchase a watch band for the watch. Which was not expected. This should have been noted within the discripition, that bands will be needed. But other than that happy with the watch.

This particular Steinhausen TW-381, A1953 Tachometer is one of the early versions used to study watchmaking. This one is in excellent condition and runs perfectly. My husband loves the history and uniqueness of this Swiss designed time piece.
