Outstanding seller. Fair prices that are more than reasonable in this economy. The product is in better condition than described, a true value for my money. Packaged and shipped well shows seller has concern for the products sold to arrive in excellent condition. The seller communicated timely with progress. • Depression Glass Guide Makes the Grade

I have always liked depression glass because of its colors and designs. However, it was only within the past three months that I decided to collect one pattern in one color that I particularly liked. This book, Depression Glass & More" by Gene Florence, provided histories of the companies that made depression glass and showed many examples in color. The one thing that made this book special for me is that the author pointed out that my pattern was not only made during the years of the depression but was reproduced in the 1970s. This author showed pictures of my pattern which were reproductions and explained how to identify them. This book is limited in specific information about many patterns. I would like to have had more of the patterns explained and identified. Never sorry I ...

  • Recently Acquired and Already Paid for itself

I'm new to collecting, buying and selling Depression Glassware and this book is wonderful. Right off the bat I found I had recently sold a set of "Miss America" bowls for a tenth of their value and a "Coin" pitcher far less than its value. If I had the book prior to listing these items on eBay I am sure I would have done much better but this was a great lesson. I still got a good price for my items and learned a valuable lesson in the process. RESEARCH befor you list! I am delighted to find I have many of the items in this great book and it gives me a great guide for insurance purposes and for selling purposes. I'm not a dealer or an experienced collector, yet, but this book gives details on how to spot a fake, what the dealer is asking, what you can expect to get and the names of the ...

  • Depressioin Glass & More 1920s-1960s

Love this little guide. Small enough to fit in my glove compartment so it is always with me. Lots of information regarding depression glass of the 1920s-1960s with pictures, patterns and current market values. It is an older edition, however it is a great guide for newcomers (such as me) in collecting and purchasing depression glassware. I recommend it highly.

  • Good Book with Full Color Photos of Style Sets.

This has a good range of Glassware selections. Pictures are in full color and in good detail. The only downside is the limited details on the full sets (Plates, Bowls, etc). However, this is still a good book to have on hand.

  • Great Guide

Great Photos. You can see glass pattern very clearly. Small size, which makes it easy to carry to sales.
