      99 and 44/100ths Dead is the weirdest Frankenheimer movie EVER!

      Okay, I got this for the 99 etc. movie, which is a strange piece of gansterland fiction, definitely a black comedy, but it does have some great shots in it, ie., the underwater gangster graveyard, and Chuck Connors as the sadist with one hand, and on his stump he has various gadgets, from whips to chainsaws to corkscrews...this movie is NOT what people expected from Frankenheimer, so it pretty well tanked in its day, mid 70's. I think its a worthwhile movie, kind of surprised it isn't a cult film...or it is, just in quiet corners. Worth the money, IMHO!

      Solid crime drama and satire.

      Solid crime actioners. The Nickel Ride is a classic down in the neighborhood crime drama. 99 and 44/100% Dead is super satire. Fantastic musical score. Harris at his dry best.
