When Aden returns to society along with Marvel, he realizes just how much he despises the civilized world.THE GUERNICA TREE: Spanish surrealist Arrabal takes on his familiar themes of political injustice, taboo-breaking love and sex, and rapturous religion. Count Cerralbo is the patriarch of a wealthy family, but he misses the days of greater class distinction, when peasants had to submit to his will. Three of his four sons terrorize their village, while the fourth, a dreamer, pursues his art and his love, Vandale.
