    Starts with how to prepare your hamster's new home (BEFORE you buy your pet). Gives the basics of hamster care - cage types benefits and downfalls, bedding, what to feed your hamster, potties, nutrition and more. Continues with how to chose and acquaint yourself with your pet and how to start training your hamie. Gives set-up of an outside the cage play palace from the bathtub, to roll around ball, to a playpen with it's own hammie playground! There are even some homemade toys you can make. Covers a lot of issues you encounter with hammie ownership - escapees, gnawing, traveling with your pet and more. Can you leash walk your hamie? Yes, if it's not a dwarf.     Training Your Pet Hamster by Barbara Somerville

    This would be the book to have for all new Hamster owners , it has it all. From how to set up its home (cage ) to understanding the hamsters daily and weekly needs. Training your Hamster will be fun to do , once you read this book.I was amazed at all the things Hamsters are capable of learning . Within two days of receiving this book, my "Claudia" comes when I call her. I recomend this book for all parents to buy for their children before purchasing the Hamster
