Not very Oldie but still a Goodie
Purchased this router (new) because lightning strike took out old and faster one. This is considered an outdated router yet it is plenty fast enough for what we do. If you want to watch streaming HD or 4K video on a large screen and have a really fast connection, then you need a more modern and faster router. This router lays flat and seems to reach every area of our 2000+ square foot house (set up near center of house). It does not provide usable signal outside the house more than a few feet which is a good thing (less likely to be hacked). Setup was easy without even using the included CD. I will use the USB port to eventually connect a large backup drive if I need a larger one or perhaps a printer that can be accessed from anywhere in the house. Gave 4 stars simply because it is ... Great Router
I live in a small Patio Home (about 1700 sq. ft on 1st Floor). A few weeks ago I started seeing poor Internet Speeds via WiFi in our Living Room, which is connected to a Router in a back bedroom. During the problem we still had 5 bars of signat strength. The problem was apparently poor signal-to-noise ratio, probably because a neighbor got a new Router. Changing from a Linsys N600 router to this one helped the problem.
