Product Information

Inspired by Marvel's summer-2008 cinema, Iron Man returns to consoles and handhelds in a concurrently released combat action game. Players take the role of the troubled engineering genius (and billionaire) Tony Stark, creator of a powerful suit of high-tech armor he wears to become the title hero. Combat takes place both on the ground and in the air, and players have access to the hero's power armor abilities, including rocket boots and repulsor rays. The game plays out across large, open, multi-objective battlefields, where Iron Man can re-purpose objects and equipment to attack enemies or cripple their defenses, as well as put his suits' arsenal to good use. As in the film and comics, different armor suit options become available as the story progresses, offering different powers.

    Good 2008 PS2 game

    Not bad for a late era PS2 game, when Xbox 360 & PS3 were the top consoles. I just think that it's cool that there is a MCU video game on PS2.

    Good superhero action game

    Good game. Controls are a little funky, but easy enough to get used to. Good graphics and good sound and music. Like listening to the full version of Black Sabbath's Iron Man while I'm playing through the first level learning how to work the Iron Man suit. Good game. Definitely worth getting--it's relatively inexpensive in most places now, and definitely really good addition for any superhero video game fan.

    Iron Man is a great game!

    Don't buy into all the BS from critics! Iron Man is a great game if you are a TRUE Marvel Comics fan!!! Emphasis on TRUE!!! Everyone who says otherwise knows nothing about Marvel Comics and cannot seriously consider themselves a true fan! Its a video game people! Yes the controls can be frustrating at times but its not that bad. I am sick and tired of every critic and their bad attitudes trying to ruin the names of Marvel video games, they are super heroes people!!! What do u expect besides fly, shoot, blow stuff up, and rescue people?? They are super heroes!!!! Its what they do! This game is great but then agian this review is straight from a hardcore die hard Iron Man fan!! Anything with Iron Man will forever hold high ranks with me, so if you love Iron Man then you will love this game. ...
