About this product

Product Information

Need for Speed: ProStreet brings the underground street-racing scene into the light with sanctioned competitions held across the globe. Multiple events are held on such real-world tracks as Tokyo's Shuto Expressway, Willow Springs, and the Autobahn. The goal throughout each point-to-point or closed circuit course is to be crowned "street king" by defeating rivals in drag, grip, drift, and speed challenges. A wide assortment of cosmetic and performance enhancements are available to tune cars, and a real-time damage system means prized vehicles can actually be totaled during races.

The Wii edition of ProStreet features three distinct control options, including a family setting that has the computer handling everything but steering. The default scheme involves tilting a horizontally held Wii Remote left and right. Drag racing, however, uses the Wii Remote like a stick shift to change gears. As with the other versions, ProStreet on Wii includes licensed car models from such auto manufacturers as Nissan, Subaru, BMW, Ford, Audi, Acura, Chrysler, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Mazda, and Volkswagen.

Games arrived very well packaged and quickly for international shipping. I did have an issue with one game and the seller was quick to respond and address. That alone will have me as a repeat buyer as its easy when everything goes through smoothly but its how you handle something when it doesn't. A+ seller and will be planning on buying from again!

    Good for the price

Bought this for my geat grandson. He enjoys rac9ng games and I thought this might be one of the easier, less advanced games. He hasn't mastered it yet, bt does enjoy trying, so it fit the bill.

For my 7-year old son - average excitement

For my son - average excitement. With so many gaming platforms existing in 2016, this provided average entertainment for video game driving enthusiasts. He particularly enjoys more driving "freedom", as seen with Test Drive Unlimited 2. However, NFS-PS remains on closed course tracks, which may be satisfying enough for some. And so the beat goes on. 2016-06-09.

  • Great game, Lots of fun, Good amount of play time.

The game is very intuitive as far as racing goes. There are several racing modes which I will try to give a few game tips for in order to minimize frustration. Game tips: Speed races- For easy play do a google search for game cheats and use the viper you get for the majority of the game. When tuning I suggest firm suspension up front, and I leave the back untouched. Tire pressure is a preference, low pressure for traction (only lower for traction on powered wheels (eg rear low pressure in a RWD vehicle). Low tire pressure will reduce max speed so keep that in mind. Max out all nitrous settings other than the last setting (I believe its flow rate, not sure, that can stay standard) Drift: Use the RX-7, by far the best drift car. Lower the suspension to min height. Stiffer ...

  • need for speed pro street

great fun game nice cars most of my favorites from domestic to imports. the only thing is that a 200 horsepower civic is as fast as an 800 horsepower classic muscle wich converts to 16 sec. 1/4 mile car beats a 9 sec. car? the way the cars shift take so long and if you miss a gear the time you loose is rediculous. if i want to over rev my car to get a good burnout or a headstart in the next gear it should be my choice not a misshift. all in all a fun game and would buy again.

  • need for speed prostreet(wii20017)

NFS prostreet for the wii is kinda difficult to drive. the wii controller just doesnt really have it for me on a racing game. The game is fun and I havent played it much yet but its going to take some getting used to the controls that is for sure. Load time is a little long but most gaming systems now have long load times. All in all from first boot up and first play looks to be a fun game just wish they gave you the option of using the dirrectional pad for steering. I know that is the whole thing with the wii is being able to move the controller and it moves the object on the screen but in racing the precision isnt there at all. You go into a curve and need to turn more and more and more then all of a sudden it turns opposite because you turned too far and the wii picked that up as ...
