Just getting started in airbrushing and I knew I would need a cleaning kit. I picked this one and I am glad I did. This is a quality made kit for sure. The cleaning jar is made of durable heavy glass and not plastic. The lid is made of quality plastic and the metal parts are solid and have a good chrome finish. The brushes are of good quality also. A Must Have.
If you use an airbrush for ANYTHING, this is a MUST have! The cleaning kit aside, that's nice and all, but the cleaning pot is AMAZING! I use my airbrush for model railroading, and having a filtered pot to eject unused paint in is quite handy, plus, the mix in the bottom of the pot after a lot of cleanings, makes for a wonderful "grime" for weathering. Good quality, but not for all airbrushes.
This is a well made and reasonable priced cleaning kit, but not all the items included with it work with a Paasche VL airbrush. The cleaning brushes and needles work fine, but the reamer has a different taper than the VL tips. The cleaning pot will only work with a gravity feed airbrush, though I can possibly modify it to work with the suction feed Paasche VL
