    I have no complaints.

Very nice guitar, and can not complain about the price. I am 60yr. and have owned a lot of guitars in my time. I wanted a all laminated guitar for sitting on the stand in the tv room. I did have my Solid Wood Series Seagull sitting on the stand till I about nocked it over. This has a nice paint job on it. I have taken a nail emery board to the fret ends, and when I change the strings I will clean up inside the sound hole. the electronics work, and I wanted a smaller body cut out electric in particular. Easy for just noodling and easer on my arthritis in my hands when bar chording. I see some say there's wont stay in tune, well I have no problem with mine. I will change the nut and bridge on mine sometime, not because I need to, but because I want bone. If sometime I find a good deal ...

  • NIce guitar for the price. Can't go wrong

Wow, this guitar is really nice for the price. I own quite a few guitars and this one is really nice for the price. Nice finish and playable right out of the box. Just added a new guitar strap button the one it comes with is plastic and then put one on the topside. I would recommend it . Really has a good feel, right size. You can't tell from the pictures but the sides are same wood grain as back nice! I can't stop playing this one. It is not quite as thick as a dreadnought but not like a thinline which usually winds up sounding like a kids guitar. This is just the right size. Some reviews say that the fretboard is smaller but I don't understand that it plays and sounds great. Just a few tweaks and some new strings and this is better than a 300 guitar. 2nd Review : I have over 12 guitars ...

  • Great Value

This is my second Mitchell guitar and I’m nothing but pleased. I was looking for an inexpensive acoustic/electric with a slightly smaller body and this perfectly fits that order. No, it’s not the equivalent of my Martin in terms of sound, but the sound is very good at a 10th the cost. The action was too high out of the box, but once I had it set up professionally it is a very comfortable playing instrument. It is a very good guitar for the money.

  • Good for the price

I purchased this guitar based on reviews and price. I like the sound, it seems deep and rich despite being a thinner guitar. It is light and easy to hold. The neck work is certainly adequate with no sharp frets. My guitar came with a cosmetic defect which MF adjusted to my satisfaction and offered to replace it if I wished (I didn't). The strings are too high off the fretboard for my taste so I am working on lowering them (I usually play electric with low action). For the money I think it is a good playable guitar.

  • Good with one small gripe

This guitar is a good value at the current price point, which is in the 130ish neighborhood. The neck is reasonable straight. The free ends are actually well dressed. The finish is good but not flawless. But nobody cares about that too much for a knock around guitar. The inside is kinda rough. And the bridge pins are not perfectly aligned. But it is overall quite playable. My only real gripe is the plugged in sound is quite mirangey and brash. Unplugged sounds good. The UST is bear metal and that means good sound unplugged but the plugged in sound suffers. Most USTs have heat shrink around them and that dampens the sound a little. The result is a slightly duller sound unplugged but improved sound plugged in. If you prefer a slightly rounder tone with better separation of notes and less ...
