This item worked for what we needed for the church. I was able to extract video from DV8 cassettes to digital, but I had a bit of a time locating software that I could do it with. It came with the software, as shown in the pics, but it had already been registered. Therefore, I could not use it at all. The DV connections, whichI really wanted to use to provide better quality, also didn't work. BUT, it did what I needed, and did it well. Ended up using our streaming software, Streamlabs OBS.

Product as described, would deal with again. GREAT EBAYER !! Shipping was very slow, but was not the seller's fault. It was related to the lousy postal system in his region of the country. My item arrived eventually, but definitely not holding it against the seller. He is a good communicator.....
