    Built to last. Easy to use.

    Singer 201-2. The last great machine singer made. Received it, cleaned, oiled and greased it, put in a new needle, threaded bobbin and started to use right away. Drawback is it's straight stitch only, but what a beauty..potted motor, gear driven so no belt. If you haven't got one and need a straight stitch machine that's the height of singer evolution get one. You'll love it to.

    Singer 1950s Sewing Machine Cabinet No. 56 with Stool

    This is an excellent product and arrived in excellent used condition. It is solid and attractive; and the removable legs make it easy to dismantle for shipping, and reassemble. I put a Singer Centennial 1951 66-18 machine in it, which is a perfect match.

    One of the great home sewing machines

    Almost, but not quite the best home sewing machine ever made. The Singer 15 is the best at sewing. But the 201 will take care of all your garment weight tasks in a package that is just a bit prettier and quieter than the 15. These are not 'industrial' or 'heavy duty' machines. They aren't made for sewing heavy canvas or leather. They are for tailoring your suits and dresses. While the 201's stitches are a fraction less that the 15's stitches in the perfection category, they will sew rings around the stitch quality of any modern machine. And they'll outlive you and sew those awesome stitches for your great great grandchildren. The 15 will work with heavier material a little better but don't expect any domestic machine to sew belt leather and not make a mess of it. Again this is ...

    Love it!

    Ordered for my Vintage Singer 201-2 and was so glad that I did! It fits like a glove and I couldn't be happier. Workmanship was wonderful and it was packed for shipping very well. Would recommend it to anyone looking for something to use with their machines but don't want to take up floor space with a cabinet. This is wonderful.
