    Never had a chance...

    This poor show really never had a chance, it was put up against Airwolf, and frankly after 8 shows it barely had gotten out of the gate before canceled. It was the first place I ever saw Dana Carvey, for that alone Blue Thunder will have a place in my heart. If you buy a copy of this show, make sure to keep in mind the first couple of shows are rough as the actor found their voices in their charitors. But all in all, not a bad little show...Of course like most shows based on movies...The movie is better. lol

    Unrecognized classic.

    I loved this show back in 1984. Liked it more than Airwolf, but I was 8 and couldn't understand. Got to see the movie later, but never thought I'd get to see the show again. Glad I found it. Too bad Airwolf was the more popular show and ABC gave up on Blue Thunder.

    Finally!

    For years and years people sold bootleg sets of this on eBay and I kept waiting for an official release that no one thought would ever come, but amazingly it did. It's certainly not the greatest show and is based on the movie of the same name which wasn't very popular, so it's hard to believe it was made at all. It was a quick way to compete with Airwolf and features a young Dana Carvey.

    Bkue Wonder

    With the success of the movie, you would have thought the tv show, would have been a shoe in but alas no. It was beat out by Airwolf and earnest borgenine. But I always liked the movie.
