  • Mad About Mad

As a kid, I waited anxiously for each new issue of Mad magazine. I loved "the Lighter Side Of..." the fold-ins, and, especially, the TV and movie parodies. To this day, I often refer to shows or movies I watched then by their "Mad" names, such as "Star Blecchh." This collection brought it all back, and I realized just how good the writers and artists of the magazine were. My only disappointment was that my favorite movie, and therefore my favorite parody, "Botch Casually and the Some Dunce Kid" wasn't included. Ah well, what is included is golden, and the book is a great addition to my library.

  • 60's Mad Magazine trip down nostalgia lane

Brought back many good memories of teenage years and why I enjoyed Mad Magazine irrelevance back then. Concepts and satire still relevant after over 50+ years or so.

  • Mad About The Sixties

MAD Magazine Decade collections can be used by history students to trace the development of our world! The evolving mores and morals of a sexually awakening youth are displayed side-by-side with the growing concerns of the middle aged and elderly. All this, combined with fantastic art (the legendary Frank Frazetta was a contributor) and humor from the most outrageous 'gang of idiots' ever assembled!

  • Great book

Sadly- Mad hits on a lot of true statements. This country is morally going down the tubes.
