The item was listed as acceptable and met all of my needs but here's a quick description of what I got: Some wear is visible on the plastic sleeve on the outside of the case. The inside leaflet was still there! The disk has about 3 very notable scratches, although none are bigger than about 2 centimeters. Little to no grime anywhere on the product. Great service!

    Outstanding, the very best book of its sort.

    This was the last (fifth) edition of the Naval Institute's Soviet Navy series. By any measure, it's simply outstanding. Now, by today's standards, it's all pretty dated, of course, but for in-depth information about Soviet warships of that ere there's nothing better out there.

    Excellent Guide to the Soviet Navy

    'The Naval Institute Guide to the Soviet Navy' by Norman Polmar is an excellent reference title on the Soviet navy, as it existed at the Cold War's end. This book begins with an overview of the Soviet navy, highlighting the service's history, background and limitations, which were imposed by the Soviet social order at the time. This overview leads to a precise class by class breakdown of the Naval and Naval Aviation units, which made up the Soviet order of battle. This is a historical reference which should be on the bookshelf of every Navy veteran and every student of military history.
