  • The M-1 helmet by Mark Reynosa

This is a very nice publication which deals with the sole subject of the US military M-1 combat helmet which was developed shortly after the start of WW2 and used through the Vietnam era. I bought the book because I have several of these helmets in my military collection and the book is a great reference tool to get the history, development, manuafacture, etc. concerning these helmets. the book is well documented with sources of information and many excellent photo's. As a collector, I am always looking to add to my reference library and this book is a valuable addition. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in the GI helmet.

  • The M-1 Helmet

Great book, Lots of good info on World War Two helmets. They explain how the shell was made, what improvements took place with dates. And show liner production and improvements. They cover camo and field markings Also a section on the original paratrooper model. Very good photos and I think a very good book about the M-1 helmet. Ralph
