Fire Warrior is a pretty good game that follows a story about a Tau warrior of the Fire Caste. If you don't know much about the Warhammer world, some elements of the game can be rather confusing, especially the allies and enemies. The player character is a Tau warrior, a humanoid alien species that has technology more advanced than humans of the time (slightly) where the citizens work in elemental castes (The Fire caste handles most of the fighting in the Warhammer world). These aliens although very advanced, aspire for unity and peace under the banner of "the greater good," but do not hesitate to use force against those who do not wish to convert to the cause. The Imperium of Man in the Warhammer world consists of the genetically superior Space Marines and the Imperial Guard, who are not ... Fire Warrior is a pretty good game that follows a story about a Tau warrior of the Fire Caste. If you don't know much about the Warhammer world, some elements of the game can be rather confusing, especially the allies and enemies. The Imperium of Man in the Warhammer world consists of the genetically superior Space Marines and the Imperial Guard, who are not unlike standard military soldiers of today, but with laser weapons and such. Man struggles against its mutated, evil counterparts, the children of Chaos (the Chaos Space Marines). This game only really reveals the conflict between the Space Marines and Chaos through the eyes of a Tau warrior. In total there are several other races of the Warhammer world not even in the game, including the elf-like Eldar, their evil brethren, the Space Orks and Gretchins, undead robots called Necrons, mindless alien swarms known as Tyranids and many others. Hopefully one day Games Workshop will produce a game that displays all the races in their glory, but for now, we have the Tau, Men, and Chaos. There are some pretty great cutscenes in the game and some pretty extensive levels, but the enemies can get rather monotonous and your tasks can get repetitive. My biggest problem with the combat is that Imperial Guard colonels have chainswords, in my opinion one of the most awesome weapons in the Warhammer world, but the player may never weild a chainsword, because it dissapears with the body of the enemy when you defeat him. Other than that, Fire Warrior is a pretty decent fps game with some pretty good cutscenes so if you can get past its quirks it is an ok game.

Decent game for it's time, well designed and fun for hours.
I bought this for my son, since he's a Warhammer 40K freak. He loves it. Obviously fairly old tech, but a well-designed game that's fun and gives some cool background from the 40k Universe. A few issues though. You can only save one game per difficulty setting, no multiple profiles like in Halo and such. Also there's some little issues with accuracy to the Warhammer universe, like lasguns that kick and use clip ammo. Two player is very fun and easy to pick up for veterans of FPS games.I bought this for my son, since he's a Warhammer 40K freak. He loves it. High Intesity, Low Replayability
Fire Warrior is an exciting, enigmatic game that immerses you in the grim future of the 40k universe. It's very intense and fast paced, but leaves something to be desired with re-playability. Once you're beaten the game, there's nothing new to do, other than boost your stats (which doesn't count for much unless you're looking to unlock cheats). Very storyline driven, and very intense. From most websites I have gathered that it is not the highest rated because of its graphics. Most of the web sites I got to that make reviews on this game say that the concept and story line are awsome but the graphics leave something to be wanted by this world who expects the next game to look like you just took a picture of real life. So I say pretty good.
